Description
Flexible yet performance oriented
The Fizik Antares R3 Versus EVO saddle has a composite, carbon fibre reinforced shell. The Wing Flex technology allows for a high degree of flexibility without sacrificing the saddle's performance orientation. This saddle has a semi-round rear section, which makes it very suitable for people who rock their hips slightly while cycling because it offers them better support and freedom of movement than a flat saddle does.
A comfortable saddle for those who are less flexible
This is a semi-flat saddle, meaning it is flat at the front and slightly raised at the back. The shape of this saddle makes it suitable for people with a moderate degree of flexibility in their spine. This has to do with pelvic rotation; when you sit in an upright position you need support to be able to rotate your pelvis, and when you're in a deep position, with your hands down in the drops, for example, you don't.
According to Fizik, this saddle is made for so-called Chameleon cyclists, that is, those with moderate-high body flexibility and low pelvis rotation during cycling. The Antares is a neutral saddle that offers support and flexibility so that you can move around to find your best power transfer point while continuing to feel comfortable.
Less pressure on the centre of the saddle
The Fizik Antares R3 versus EVO has a cut-out which directs the pressure on the saddle from the perineum to your seat bones and the outside of the seat. This ensures some degree of pressure relief for people who often experience pressure on the seat.
The Fizik Antares R3 versus EVO is a super fast saddle that offers support in all the right places!

Comfortable and robust.
I have always used the Fizik Arione but wanted to try the Antares. They are quite similar in set-up. I got on well.
Pros & Cons

Fine saddle
Fine saddle, nice and hard but still comfortable due to the slightly flexi sides. Saddle offers enough support, but you can still change position smoothly. As always, perfect, fast delivery

Not very comfortable
Of course, it is very personal but for me it is not a comfortable saddle. Still a bit too hard and again every rump is different but it does not fit me. I have a normal seat and weigh 78 kg.
